The Influencer team is responsible for the output of content we create for our brand partners. Combining creator/influencer practices and creative practices allows us to imprint community-driven creativity into every post, partnership, campaign, or video we create.
The role of the Director, Influencer within Blue Hour Studios is to oversee the strategy and execution of influencer and creator marketing projects and deliverables. This person will work to deliver exceptional and inspired content across Blue Hour Studios clients' influencer programs, using their rich account and influencer strategy experience and strategic direction to translate key business objectives into clear and concise deliverables.
This position reports to the Vice President, Influencer, and will direct and oversee all social media and influencer/creator programs. They will work closely with the team to guide the development of proposals and content, oversee the contracting and execution of campaigns, manage the influencer marketing team and its administration, and drive the analysis of campaign results to inform future strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about the social ecosphere, actively participates within it, and deeply understands the social/digital media landscape.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy and oversee the development, execution, and production of annual and seasonal influencer campaigns in partnership with internal and external business partners.
Direct the vision for influencer identification and outreach, ensuring alignment with brand safety, audience demographics, and campaign objectives.
Drive the development of strategic campaign briefs that provide clear direction for clients and influencers.
Oversee the curation and presentation of influencer recommendations, providing strategic rationale to clients for ranking and approval.
Own the analytics and reporting function for campaigns, translating performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for future initiatives.
Manage the influencer marketing team in the daily execution of campaigns, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction.
Serve as the senior point of contact for key client relationships, managing high-level communication and acting as an escalation point for campaign issues.
Oversee the development and negotiation of influencer agreements, contracts, and scopes of work, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk in partnership with the Legal and Business Affairs Team.
Lead the development of comprehensive post-campaign analyses, presenting key learnings and strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Leverage deep expertise of the influencer industry to drive innovative strategy development and ensure flawless execution.
Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional agency teams to champion influencer marketing integration and optimize our social media presence across all channels.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of influencer marketing experience required
Maintains strategic relationships with digital influencers, talent management, and other key stakeholders within the influencer industry
Has a proven track record of managing successful social/digital campaigns across social platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Experience with digital reporting, data, and analytics
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Very proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel) and presentation formats like Google Slides
BA/BS required (Communications, Advertising, Marketing or related field)
Salary Range: $2,788.46 to $3,461.54 a week. A successful applicant's actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
