Business Development Director – West Region

A key driving force behind the company’s top-line growth, the Business Development Director focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships with prospective and existing clients in the West Region, identifying opportunities for marketing the company's programs, and ensuring sales goals and profit margins are met.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain internal and external relationships and partnerships.
  • Build relationships with prospects.
  • Facilitate the development of new partnerships and the implementation of new client programs, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of prospective operations to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Determine required expertise to address prospect requirements and identify resources for solicitation and service teams.
  • Utilize national resources to facilitate responses, pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations.
  • Manage design of service programs to fulfill client needs.
  • Develop and implement an annual sales and service plan, identifying prospects, their needs, and methodologies for presenting the company’s capabilities.
  • Meet sales goals of $2-3 million.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management preferred).
  • Licenses as required.
  • Possession of or progress toward CPCU and/or ARM designation.
  • Ten (10) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including five (5) years of relationship building in the claims management or risk management area.

  • Compensation range $140,000–$175,000, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
