About the Role : The Engineering Director is responsible for shaping strategic direction, building and leading a high-performing engineering team, and fostering a culture of innovation and creative design. This individual will independently develop and execute a vision that positions Angelus as a leader in Aerospace and Defense interconnect solutions.
Responsibilities :
Lead with Vision : Define and execute long-term engineering strategies, technical road maps, and annual initiatives aligned with company goals. Build & Inspire Teams : Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering leaders and teams. Drive Innovation : Foster a creative, forward-thinking engineering culture that supports breakthrough product development. Operational Excellence : Implement best practices, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s preferred) 12+ years of engineering experience (aerospace/defense preferred) 4+ years leading engineering leaders Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with budgeting and continuous improvement
