Vendor Relations Specialist (Irving)

Staffing Now has partnered with an amazing organization for a unique role as a Vendor Relation Specialist/Supplier Administrator on a CONTRACT basis! This is a high visibility project from the executive team.

3-month commitment is required!

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Manage the full lifecycle of vendor onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish
Communicate effectively with suppliers via email, phone, and virtual meetings (including Teams calls)
Track onboarding progress using Smartsheet and provide regular status updates through reports and weekly meetings with leadership
Conduct proactive supplier outreach, offering guidance and support throughout the onboarding journey
Assist suppliers with the registration process, including navigating systems and completing required steps
Support registration fee processing and ensure accurate documentation
Monitor and track onboarding milestones to maintain timelines and compliance
Experience with Apex Analytix is a plus, but not required

Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an outgoing and engaging personality
Ability to act as a change agent, helping long-standing suppliers (10–15+ years) adapt to new processes and understand the value of transitioning to a supplier portal
Analytical mindset with experience in data tracking, reporting, and vendor management
Comfortable balancing relationship-building with structured, detail-oriented work
A unique blend of being both highly analytical and personable, able to influence and drive adoption
