Job Details
Salary: From $17 to $20 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Garden Grove, CA 92843
Position Summary
The Automotive Porter plays a key role in supporting the maintenance and presentation of vehicles while ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires close collaboration with service and sales teams and direct interaction with customers during vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support team efforts aligned with company vision and mission
Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before customer delivery
Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages and report any issues promptly
Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles
Maintain an orderly vehicle lot by moving vehicles according to dealership standards
Transport vehicles to and from storage locations as required
Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive
Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed
Help with shop clean-up and deliveries as requested
Work Environment
This full-time role is based in Garden Grove, California. The position involves outdoor work and requires physical activity related to vehicle handling and lot upkeep.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with the ability to operate vehicles safely
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Customer service skills
Safe handling of machinery
Authorized to work in the United States
Capable of performing essential job duties satisfactorily
Willingness to comply with company safety standards and policies
Successful completion of pre-employment screening including background check, motor vehicle record review, drug test, and credit report
