Social Content Lead

We are seeking a Social Content Lead to join our growing social team, someone who will champion social‑first content that elevates the agency’s creative portfolio and inspires client‑winning work.

The Social Content Lead is a dynamic and creative storyteller who lives and breathes social. In this role, you’ll work across key clients spanning luxury, spirits, and healthcare, driving brand relevance across social platforms. You’ll operate at the intersection of culture and content, pushing innovation within the social landscape.

Reporting to the Strategy Director, you will partner closely with Strategy, Creative, Media, and Influencer teams to translate client objectives into compelling social content.

You keep a pulse on consumer trends and speak the language of the internet. You know how to remix trends in ways that feel authentic to a brand, bringing fresh ideas that stand out in a crowded field and you’re equally comfortable executing them.

You clearly articulate ideas on the ground, drive creative direction, and capture best‑in‑class social content through edit and final delivery.

What You’ll Do

Lead the development of performance‑driven creative across organic and paid media channels from concepting and capturing to editing and delivery

Develop platform‑native creative strategies that reflect how audiences behave differently across TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube

Maintain an expert understanding of Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, tailoring creative for each

Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Influencer teams to produce thumb‑stopping content aligned with brand strategies and campaign concepts

Support broader campaign objectives with social amplification of experiential activations

Proactively identify trends, monitor brand and competitive content, track hashtags, and stay ahead of cultural shifts to spark ideas that resonate with target audiences

Manage content shoots and creative direction of all social deliverables on site, including use of production equipment (e.g., ring lights, tripods, backdrops)

Manage social content production budgets and timelines to ensure efficient delivery

Produce content leveraging video and creative editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Canva)

Exhibit a strong aesthetic sense and adapt ideas to align with brand personality, look and feel, and tone

Own social ideas and successfully sell them through to clients and external brand stakeholders

Serve as a thought leader and internal resource on social content best practices and creative inspiration

What You’ll Bring
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

3+ years of experience in a creator/influencer, brand content, or creative strategy role (in‑house or agency)

A portfolio or active feed showcasing high‑performing, trend‑driven creative work

Ability to use insights and data to inform content ideation and planning

Expert understanding of major social platforms, their formats, and features

Strong video editing and graphic design skills

Ability to leverage AI tools for efficiency and creative ideation where appropriate

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate creative direction and workflows

Strong time management and multitasking capabilities

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience

Hybrid work model (three in‑office days per week)

20 PTO days annually

Hybrid Work Model

Work Model: IW Group supports a hybrid work schedule. Teams are required to work in‑office at least three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.

Work Environment: This role is based primarily in the IW Group office and may also involve working at client sites or other designated locations.

Work Hours: Project timelines may occasionally require extended hours, including evenings or weekends.

Travel and Events: This role will involve working outside the office for client events and may include occasional travel beyond the local area, including national or international locations.

Physical Requirements

Engage in a variety of activities, from sitting and using your hands to talking, hearing, standing, walking, and occasionally stooping or kneeling.

Vision abilities required include close vision.
