A company is looking for a Japanese Translator to ensure learner-facing content resonates with Japanese audiences through accurate translations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and refine English-Japanese translations for applicant-facing content and technical training materials
Proofread copy for accuracy, idiomatic expression, and cultural appropriateness, correcting grammar and tone as needed
Track edits and comments in the localization workflow to deliver polished, native-sounding copy
Required Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Japanese; professional proficiency in English
Proven experience in translation, localization, or proofreading (English-Japanese)
Strong understanding of grammar, tone, and cultural nuances in Japanese
Experience working with style guides and glossaries
Familiarity with localization tools is preferred
