Global Marketing Category Intern
Griffith Foods is hiring a Global Marketing Category Intern to support the development of a global portfolio architecture within our Seasonings category. This role will focus on bringing clarity and structure to a complex global product portfolio by analyzing existing internal and external solutions, identifying patterns, and supporting the organization of products under a unified Innovation platform.
Location
Onsite or Hybrid in Lombard, IL. Hybrid candidates will work onsite approximately one day per week.
Compensation
$20 per hour.
Job Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to join a global, dynamic marketing team, gaining exposure to cross‑functional and cross‑regional collaboration, as well as strategy development in a B2B food environment.
Responsibilities
Build a global inventory of existing Griffith Foods products aligned to the Innovation platform, consolidating inputs from multiple regions into a structured database.
Analyze the portfolio to identify similarities, differences, and inconsistencies in product positioning and naming across markets.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including R&D, to understand product and technology differences and inform portfolio grouping.
Conduct external benchmarking to understand how leading companies structure and name product solutions within Innovation platforms.
Support the development of a draft portfolio architecture, organizing products into clear, logical groupings under the new platform.
Support the development of a marketing toolkit for the first global portfolio launched under the Innovation platform.

Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to structure and synthesize complex information.
High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets (e.g., Excel).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a cross‑functional and global environment.
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with a structured and problem‑solving mindset.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Willingness to work onsite in Lombard, IL one day per week.
