The designer applies fundraising-driven marketing and design best practices—emphasizing clarity, donor motivation, and strategic visual communication—to create materials that strengthen donor engagement and organizational impact.

Essential Functions
Fundraising-Focused Creative Design

Execute World Concern graphic design projects under the direction of the Senior Director of Marketing and in close collaboration with the Project Manager, taking concepts from initial idea or sketch through multiple iterations to produce creative that aligns with fundraising strategy and motivates donor response.

Incorporate stakeholder feedback and analyze proofs with a focus on clarity, donor motivation, and strategic communication rather than aesthetic preference alone.

Collaborate with vendors to move approved artwork into production and ensure accurate archiving of completed projects that support WC’s fundraising, marketing, and branding efforts.

Review project materials, evaluate production considerations, and recommend the most effective presentation approach. Provide strategic and creative solutions that strengthen WC’s distinction in the marketplace.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the difference between personal creative expression and fundraising-driven business objectives, ensuring every design decision advances fundraising goals.

Ensure the quality and accuracy of prepress and digital files by preparing artwork for production or partnering with production specialists or vendors.

Project Management, Tracking & Collaboration

Maintain organized, consistent tracking of all assigned projects—including time spent—and submit reports and updates in Click Up, Filestage, SharePoint, and other required platforms.

Train team members on print processes when necessary.

Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, and internal clients to support World Concern’s mission and fundraising goals.
