Jr. Digital Advertising Specialist (Google Ads, Paid Social, OTT & Analytics) This is NOT a remote/WFH position. Full‑time, in‑person role supporting local businesses in the Bloomington‑Normal area. The incumbent reports directly to the Owner. Job Summary Responsible for digital paid advertising research, distribution, optimization and reporting across the following platforms: Google Ad Campaigns (DemandGen, PMax, Shopping, Search, YouTube, Display, etc.) Social Media Ad Campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) Streaming Media Ad Campaigns (OTT Video, Audio, OOH, etc.) Campaign Reporting & Tracking (Native platforms, eCommerce, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, etc.) The role does not manage organic social media, graphic design, or content creation. Primarily, the specialist will recommend headlines, descriptions, and ad changes based on research and performance analysis. Salary and Benefits Starting annual range of $45,000 – $55,000, based on skills and experience. Office hours Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with occasional evening or weekend commitments. Health insurance benefits, with optional HRA after 30 days. Paid vacation and sick days. Paid parking. Qualifications, Experience & Requirements Residency in the Bloomington‑Normal area is required (non‑remote position). Google Ads Certifications strongly preferred; incomplete certifications acceptable with expectation to complete immediately. Experience managing digital advertising for businesses strongly preferred. Personal familiarity with platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and streaming services is helpful. Formal education or certifications in marketing, communications, or related fields is a plus. Commitment to long‑term employment in the local area. Passion for local businesses and familiarity with JoshuaOneNine clients is highly competitive.
