The client is seeking a QA Director to lead and enhance their nuclear quality management system.

The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and maintaining high standards across certifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include managing inspection processes, nonconformance management, and supplier quality to ensure product conformance and timely deliveries.

The director will also build and expand the quality organization and will serve as the main quality representative to customers, regulators, and industry partners.

Oversight of regulatory compliance, certification processes, audit management, corrective actions, and quality documentation is essential.

The candidate must have over 15 years of experience in manufacturing quality leadership roles, with significant experience in nuclear quality assurance programs.

A solid knowledge of NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements is required, along with experience in supporting ASME Section III nuclear component manufacturing.

The ideal candidate should have a history of managing quality teams in a manufacturing environment, with a strong expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and audit management.

Leadership and communication skills are crucial, as the role involves engagement with both executives and shop floor teams.

A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is required. xsgimln
