The responsibilities of the Director of Operations include managing the school office staff, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and overseeing student recruitment, admissions, and family engagement activities. The Director acts as the main point of contact for hosting visitors and managing community relations. They are also responsible for facility maintenance and development, creating and overseeing budgets, and applying cost-effective measures in all purchasing activities. Logistics management is another critical area, involving planning for school trips, events, and family activities. The Director is tasked with technology procurement and maintenance, working in partnership with the Technology Team to ensure all equipment needs are met. They oversee the student information system's integrity and manage data analysis and reporting. Compliance with health, safety, educational, and workplace regulations is another aspect of their role, working closely with the Shared Services Team to ensure all mandates are met. Additionally, the Director collaborates with the Human Resources Team to support school-based HR functions.
