The client is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth and manage key strategic accounts within the clinical research and trial services industry. The organization is a multi-site clinical research entity with a strong focus on delivering high-quality clinical trial execution. The Director will collaborate with executive leadership to drive revenue strategies and strengthen client relationships, targeting expansion into new markets and therapeutic areas. A strong executive presence and consultative sales skills are essential for engaging stakeholders in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO sectors. The Director will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets by expanding partnerships and identifying new study opportunities. This includes developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as clinical operations and executive teams. The role also involves creating strategic account plans, leading client presentations, managing the business development pipeline, and providing insights to senior leadership. There is a requirement for up to 25% travel for client meetings, conferences, and site visits. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of business development or sales experience in clinical research. Proven experience with pharmaceutical and biotech clients, as well as strong consultative selling and communication skills, is necessary.
