The client is seeking a Director of National Accounts for a luxury golf resort characterized by a large accommodation capacity, various pools, an award-winning spa, and multiple dining concepts. The ideal candidate should have a strong history of securing in-house group business in similar upscale settings and demonstrate the ability to sustain high revenue through exceptional rate integrity. The role demands meeting monthly sales goals, creating strategic sales action plans, maintaining effective interdepartmental communication, and carrying out special assignments from the Director of Sales and Marketing. Key responsibilities include adhering to all operational standards, achieving set sales metrics, developing and mapping group business accounts within the assigned region, and maintaining an accurate accounts database. The role requires identifying potential clients through various sales channels and upholding group sales procedure compliance. Presenting rates clearly, ensuring exceptional client service, maintaining productive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, and collaborating with multiple departments for effective meeting execution are also essential. Candidates should bring over seven years of group selling experience in luxury hospitality with experience in handling peak group room nights. Expertise in selling to group markets such as Incentive, Insurance, and Corporate is necessary. The position requires on-site work, proficiency with Delphi/FDC is preferred, and candidates must be able to work varying shifts. The ability to navigate the property during tours is important, and performing additional tasks to support resort operations may be expected.
