Bluedrop Water is a growing water solutions company serving residential and commercial customers. We install and service a variety of water filtration systems to include point-of-entry filtration, point-of-use filters, hot & cold water dispensers, still and sparkling water machines and custom filtration projects. We are looking for an experienced Director of Field Operations to join our team! The Director of Field Operations will lead and scale our field service and installation teams. This role is responsible for driving performance across productivity, quality, safety, and customer experience, while building the structure, processes, and team needed to support continued growth. This leader will work closely with sales, dispatch, and leadership teams to ensure efficient execution and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop field managers, technicians, and installers Build a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement Establish clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching and reviews Implement training, onboarding, and career development programs Operational Performance Drive improvements in field efficiency, including job readiness, workflow, and technician utilization, while partnering with the dispatch team to optimize scheduling and routing Develop and standardize processes to improve consistency and scalability Implement quality control measures to ensure strong workmanship and customer satisfaction Resolve escalated service and installation issues Lead large and complicated project installation planning Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales to improve handoffs, site readiness, and overall execution Provide field insights to the dispatch team to improve scheduling efficiency and routing Collaborate with leadership on hiring, planning, and operational improvements Performance, Safety & Resources Establish and manage KPIs across productivity, quality, safety, and customer experience Track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives Oversee safety programs, training, and compliance standards Manage field-related costs, inventory, tools, and equipment Requirements:
7+ years of leadership experience in field operations, service, or installation Experience leading technician teams in plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, or similar trades Broad knowledge across the trades Proven ability to improve performance and build scalable processes Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with KPIs, budgeting, and safety programs Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and strong people leader who brings structure to growing teams.
