Position Summary
The Strategy Execution Supervisor (PMO) governs the execution of the enterprise strategic initiative portfolio and operationalizes the Tribe delivery model. This role ensures initiatives move from strategy into delivery with
clear accountability, cadence, escalation, and value realization . It is a
strategic execution PMO , not an administrative reporting function.
Reporting & Scope
Reports to:
Strategy Director (Head of Strategy Office)
Key interfaces:
Finance (benefits), Commercial, Supply Chain/Operations, IT leadership (dependencies/capacity)
Core Responsibilities
A) Portfolio Governance
Own and maintain the strategic initiative portfolio (intake, prioritization support, gating).
Define execution standards: charters, milestone plans, dependency maps, risk logs, and benefits tracking.
Run executive cadence (monthly/quarterly) and manage escalation paths.
B) Delivery Discipline & Cross Functional Coordination
Coordinate cross functional execution, ensuring clarity of owners, deadlines, and decision rights.
Manage dependencies across initiatives.
Identify blockers early and drive decision making with leadership.
C) Tribe Operating Model (Tribes Focus)
Operationalize as
value streams
and build/maintain their
delivery roadmap
with initiative sequencing.
Stand up and govern value streams by ensuring:
A clear mission and timebox
A designated Lead (business owner)
Defined scope, deliverables, and outcome metrics
Required crossfunctional resourcing
Provide a consistent "how we work" playbook (cadence, artifacts, escalation rules).
Track progress at Value Stream level and provide enterprise visibility without micromanaging delivery.
D) Benefits Realization
Track value realization with Finance (baseline, targets, run rate, timing).
Ensure initiatives close properly with documented outcomes, learnings, and handoffs.
E) Team Leadership
Support and coach the value streams effectively and consistently.
Success Measures
% of strategic initiatives delivered on time and on value
Reduction in execution bottlenecks (decision lead time, dependency delays)
Clear visibility and governance across value streams
Benefits realized vs. plan (validated with Finance)
5+ years in strategic PMO, transformation, program management, or consulting
Experience managing cross functional programs in complex organizations (CPG preferred)
Strong facilitation, escalation, and leadership presence
Key Competencies
Execution bias with strong governance discipline
Ability to manage ambiguity, conflict, and competing priorities
Stakeholder influence and "productive challenge"
Structured communication and portfolio thinking
