We provide the design, installation, upgrade, maintenance, and repair of electrical, telecommunications, data, security, and site utility systems.We offer competitive pay and top-of-the-line benefits which include health, dental, vision, 401(k), time off, holiday pay and an environment where you are a valued member of our team.Job Description :Work will consist of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the commercial, industrial and residential electrical industry.Responsibilities and Duties:Generates high quality and efficient work in alignment with the mission of Merit Electrical GroupInstalls and repairs electrical equipment and fixturesInstalls various types of raceway and cable tray systemsTroubleshoots motor and control systemsPerforms routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systemsAdheres to all quality and safety codesDemonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipmentInterprets blueprints, schematics and manufacturers' specificationsInstructs apprentices and assistants in the techniques and procedures employed in the electrical trade; inspect apprentices' work to determine that they follow the necessary operations and that works conforms to specificationsSupervises (1) or more apprentice(s) Qualifications and Skills:Must have at least (4) years of electrical experienceMust have knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring and electrical codesMust have the ability to read blueprints and schematicsMust be able to follow written and verbal instructionsMust have the ability to perform mathematical calculationsMust be able to diagnose and resolve problemsMust have the ability to use hand and power toolsMust be able to use a ladder and work with heightsMust have a current driver's license and reliable transportationMust xywuqvp posses a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent trainingMust be able to successfully pass a drug testMust have acceptable criminal background checks (Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151) Benefits: Competitive pay Health Dental Vision 401(k) Time off Holiday payFree ParkingMerit Electrical Group - We E A R N through P E R F O R M A N C EMerit Electrical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Veteran‐Friendly employer.
