Credit Union Analyst

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Intro ALM Analyst to join our Asset and Liability Management (ALM) team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are eager to develop a deep understanding of financial management, risk assessment, and the principles behind managing the balance sheet of a financial institution. As an Intro ALM Analyst, you will support the team in analyzing and managing the risks related to interest rate fluctuations, liquidity, and the strategic management of assets and liabilities. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data from client's systems. Prepare regular reports on the client's asset and liability positions. Risk Analysis Support: Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of interest rate risks, liquidity risks, and other financial risks within the ALM framework. Financial Modelling: Assist in building and updating financial models used to forecast balance sheet behavior and assess risk exposure. Documentation & Process Support: Maintain accurate records of ALM activities, including risk reports, assumptions, and methodologies used in analyses. ALM Systems Support: Assist in the operation and maintenance of ALM software systems, ensuring data integrity and effective use of the system for financial analysis and reporting. Market Research: Support research on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices that may impact the ALM strategy and practices. Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with senior analysts to ensure a holistic approach to financial management and risk control.
