DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Staff Program Manager and contribute to global scientific advancement. In this strategic leadership role, youll guide complex, multi-disciplinary programs across our organization, from concept through commercialization. Youll coordinate cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions that help our customers make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working closely with R&D, Operations, Product Management, and other key stakeholders, youll oversee program execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and facilitate successful product launches. Youll establish and maintain program governance, manage budgets and resources, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Your strategic approach and leadership will be essential in delivering breakthrough technologies and solutions that advance scientific discovery. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects while collaborating with accomplished professionals across our organization. Youll have significant influence in shaping product roadmaps and advancing innovation in areas ranging from life sciences research to semiconductor manufacturing. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence at least once a week or more frequently as applicable to support team collaboration and program execution

REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience in program management with expertise in the Drug Product Environment • Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, Business Administration or related technical field • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred • Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional programs from conception through delivery • Experience managing complex budgets and resource allocation across multiple projects • Strong technical acumen with demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex concepts • Excellence in stakeholder management and ability to influence without direct authority • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Critical Chain, Stage Gate) • Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing team members • Outstanding communication and presentation skills at all organizational levels • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies • Ability to build consensus and navigate matrix organizations effectively • Proficiency with project management tools and software • Willingness to travel up to 30% as required • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards • Experience in relevant industry sector (life sciences, semiconductors, or similar) • Demonstrated track record of delivering programs on time and within budget • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously • Experience working with global, geographically dispersed teams • Ability to work on-site at least once a week or more frequently as applicable: proximity to the site location is required
