
Property Director

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Property Director at the Bath Area Family YMCA intentionally fosters a cause‑centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined while also overseeing the maintenance and improvement of all 3 branches of our YMCA facilities as well as vehicles.
Qualifications
Minimum 21 years old.
5 years of experience in building operation and supervision of maintenance staff.
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, carpentry, fire safety codes & regulations, electrical and mechanical systems and other maintenance‑related areas.
Preferred 2 years of experience of pool health requirements and operation of pool equipment.
Certified Pool / Spa Operator Certification (CPO) required within 120 days of employment.
YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.
Skills in supervision, budget management and project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be available to respond to emergency facility calls during off‑hours including evenings and weekends when needed.
Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred.
Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
