About the Role

The Company is seeking a Tax Managing Director for its Private Client Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an engagement team, directly interacting with clients and family office personnel, and ensuring the delivery of timely and coordinated services. This role involves developing and managing client relationships, being a trusted advisor, and directing multiple engagements that encompass consulting, compliance, and tax planning services. The Tax Managing Director will also be involved in guiding and managing IRS and state audits, as well as actively contributing to new business development activities.

Applicants for the Tax Managing Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in taxation or accounting, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in public accounting or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in comprehensive tax planning and consulting, with expertise in federal and state tax laws and regulations. Experience in providing consultative services to high-net-worth individuals and families, as well as a proven track record in new business development, is essential. The role also requires excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, and the ability to mentor and develop junior team members. Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel is necessary, and the candidate must be able to travel as needed.
