JOB SUMMARY
The Lock Desk specialist is responsible for locking in new lock requests and maintaining those locks through closing. Maintenance in extending the lock, updating changes made to the lock, and relocking as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for locking a high volume of loans internally and with investors
Audit all parameters that impact pricing on locked loans
Respond to questions from mortgage originators as well as making changes on locked loans
Manage the locked pipeline
Assist Mortgage Consultants and Processors with product and pricing question
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Strong mathematical skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong working knowledge of current PPE/LOS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
High school diploma
2+ years of mortgage industry experience and knowledge
BS in Accounting or Finance preferred
Compensation: $21-25 Hourly
