The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full sales pursuit, from initial outreach to closing, with a focus on building and managing high-value, long-term customer relationships. This role is not about selling off-the-shelf products but rather about engaging with large, operations-heavy organizations to understand and solve their complex, measurable operational problems through custom AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, particularly in the context of complex, multi-stakeholder, and multi-month pursuits, and will be adept at turning ambiguous problems into clear commercial paths. Executive presence and credibility with senior leaders across various business functions are essential, as is the ability to influence the go-to-market strategy and contribute to the creation of repeatable sales playbooks.
Candidates for the Head of Enterprise Business Development position at the company should have at least 6 years' experience in B2B enterprise sales, with a strong background in managing 7 to 8 figure customer relationships. Experience in selling custom software, digital transformation, AI solutions, analytics, automation, or services-led enterprise software is a must. The role requires a candidate with a portable network and credibility in relevant industrial verticals, such as manufacturing, utilities, energy, and supply chain. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience in early-stage enterprise sales and the ability to maintain deal control through various procurement processes.
