POSITION MISSION: Effectively and efficiently investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle Personal Lines auto physical damage and liability claims.

Affirms or denies coverage of the claim based on the facts and the policy terms and conditionsDetermines liability based on claim investigation and jurisdictionAdequate reporting and documentation of all reserve and claim information on a timely basis to allow for proper tracking, statistical analysis and reviewInvestigates and evaluates bodily injury claims Pursues subrogation and/or arbitration when applicable Utilizes knowledge of auto physical damage and bodily injury claims in evaluating and settling claimsNegotiates with claimants, carriers, and attorneys to reach fair and equitable settlements Comply with all regulatory and reporting requirements including fair claims practices act and relevant lawsProvide superior customer service to policyholders, agents, and co-workersOTHER DUTIES:Identify and respond to all emerging issues impacting company in the area of claim adjustment and loss controlPerforms other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisorKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Displays a clear understanding of who their customer is (internal and external)
