
Sr. Director, Industrial Acquisitions - Real Estate

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage all activities surrounding the sourcing, closing, and funding of industrial real‑estate acquisition and development transactions.
- Analyze new acquisition opportunities and ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic and operational goals.
- Develop external relationships with key market participants, investment sales, leasing brokers, and lenders.
- Oversee the due‑diligence process for asset acquisition and property development opportunities.
- Lead Investment Committee presentations for new opportunities, preparing materials, presenting market fundamentals, sourcing sale‑and‑lease comparables, and articulating transaction risks and merits.
- Ensure real‑estate acquisition policies and practices are followed by team members.
- Collaborate regularly with portfolio management and asset management teams to meet business objectives.
- Represent the company in investment acquisitions panels.
- Manage team performance through regular feedback and formal performance reviews to foster engagement, motivation, and development.
Educational Requirements
- University degree preferred.
Work Experience
- 5+ years required, 7+ years preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily sedentary work.

Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of real‑estate acquisition experience.
Preferred Experience
- 10+ years of industrial real‑estate acquisition experience.
- Established brokerage network throughout the Northeast region.
- Experience structuring and managing joint‑venture partnerships.
- Track record of negotiating complex contracts while balancing risk and maintaining strong counterparty relationships.
- Deep knowledge of regional market dynamics.
