Project Director for Office for Violence Against Women (OVW) Campus Grant

Position Summary

The Project Director will manage the Department of Justice Office of Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant to reduce sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking on campus. Responsibilities include serving as the principal point of contact for the OVW Grant, overseeing implementation of grant programs and activities, preparing grant reports and assessments, handling OVW correspondences, and managing the grant budget. The role also involves developing and implementing statutory and program requirements, coordinating grant-related activities, building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and tracking progress toward project completion. This exempt position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and is contingent upon funding expected to end on September 30, 2028.

Required Education/Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • One to two years of progressively responsible work experience in prevention and response related to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
  • Experience working in higher education.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Three to five years of related experience with victim services and/or related programs, including sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking prevention projects.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Justice – Violence Against Women (OVW) Grants/Program.
  • Experience implementing comprehensive policies and protocols for OVW grant projects within a college and/or university setting.
  • Knowledge of Title IX, VAWA, Clery Act, and other related federal and state statutes related to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking prevention projects.
