About The Role
We are hiring a pure hunter to drive new business growth in Aerospace Engineering Services (ER&D). This role is focused on opening new logos and expanding strategic accounts within Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
You will sell high-value engineering and digital services including design, analysis, embedded systems, and digital engineering solutions to clients.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within aerospace accounts
- Build and leverage relationships with Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
- Sell engineering services (ER&D) including:
- Mechanical design & analysis
- Embedded systems / avionics
- Digital engineering (IoT, PLM, simulation, testing)
- Own the full sales cycle:
- Prospecting - Solutioning - Proposal - Negotiation - Closure
- Drive large, multi-year managed services / fixed-price deals
- Partner with delivery and engineering teams to align solutions with client needs
- Develop account strategies and expand footprint within key aerospace customers
Must-Have Requirements (Strict Filter)
- 8–15 years of experience in Engineering Services (ER&D) sales
- Proven track record selling into Aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
- Demonstrated success in new logo hunting and account farming ($20M+ accounts)
- Experience closing managed services / fixed-price engineering deals (NOT staff augmentation)
- Deep understanding of engineering services / digital engineering ecosystem
- Ability to operate as an individual contributor (IC)
Preferred Background
- Experience with engineering services firms
- Experience selling engineering design, simulation, testing, or digital engineering services
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
