About the Role
MeeBoss is looking for a Head of Marketing to lead user growth from 0 to 1, with a strong focus on marketplace (two-sided) dynamics.
This is not a traditional brand marketing role. We are looking for someone who can build and scale user growth across both sides of the platform, and help us find and validate product-market fit.

What You’ll Do
- Define and execute the overall user growth strategy
- Drive acquisition, activation, and retention across the funnel
- Identify early PMF signals and double down on what works
- Build & Scale Marketplace Growth
- Design and optimize supply & demand growth strategies
- Solve cold-start and liquidity challenges
- Build scalable growth loops between both sides of the marketplace
- Define ICP & User Segments
- Identify and prioritize high-value user segments on both sides
- Continuously refine ICP based on data and behavior
- Focus on users with the highest retention and engagement potential
- Optimize onboarding and activation flows
- Improve conversion and early user experience in collaboration with product
- Channel Strategy & Experimentation
- Identify and test high-leverage acquisition channels (community, outbound, partnerships, content, paid)
- Run rapid experiments across channels, messaging, and funnels
- Build a repeatable and scalable growth playbook
- Define and track key metrics:
- User acquisition & activation
- Retention & cohort performance
- Marketplace liquidity (match rate, engagement)
- Use data to drive fast iteration and decision-making
- Cross-functional Leadership
- Work closely with product and engineering on growth initiatives
- Partner with founders on strategy and prioritization
- Build and lead a lean, high-impact growth team
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in growth, marketing, or product growth roles
- Proven experience driving 0 to 1 user growth in early-stage startups
- Strong experience with marketplace or two-sided platforms
- Deep understanding of supply-demand dynamics and growth loops
- Hands-on experience with experimentation (A/B testing, funnel optimization, onboarding)
- Highly data-driven with a strong bias for action
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Bonus Points
- Experience solving marketplace cold-start problems
- Background in product-led growth (PLG)
- Experience working closely with product teams on growth features

- You focus primarily on brand, PR, or top-of-funnel awareness
- You have only worked in large, mature organizations
- You lack hands-on experience with growth experimentation
