Overview
As a Senior Art Director you will work to understand our client’s objectives, help shape the creative approach, and work with other teams in overseeing the creative vision and execution of projects. This is a role hyper specific to social media content that may extend to other channels thereafter.

Responsibilities

Support creative and social media brainstorming sessions

Use insights to tailor content that resonates with target demographics

Hone a strong, strategic sense to concept against creative briefs

Stay updated on industry and platform trends, competitor strategies, and audience behavior to inform content creation

Have a general knowledge of technology, user interface and visual design fundamentals

Maintains high quality on creative deliverables

Develop creative content for 360 and CRM campaigns (Email, DM, etc.)

Ensure creative is on-brand but also inspires user engagement, wins affinity and is breakthrough and fresh

Generate and edit creative assets that will live across all social channels on a daily and weekly basis

Have a command of basic photo retouching when it comes to still photography

Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas internally as well as liaise with the client and in-house creative team members on a daily / weekly basis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, or Advertising/Portfolio school

5-7 years total experience with at least 1 year in an advertising or marketing agency

An engaging portfolio that demonstrates both conceptual ability and art direction craft and social content creation

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After effect, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Canva

General awareness and understanding of the digital landscape, including online campaigns, mobile experiences, and social media landscape.

Enthusiasm, big ideas and attention for details are welcome

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You are passionate about the creative world and love to stay on top of the latest trends, strategies, and technologies as well as how competitors within the industry are doing things

Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work

Experience with finance client work is a plus

Compensation Range: $50 - $60/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
