Post Producer
We are looking for a Post Producer to be one step ahead of our fast pace and manage our team, coordinating post‑production, motion graphics and visual effects projects through the post‑production workflow. The right person would have post‑production experience specifically managing edits and tracking graphics or VFX shots using a shot tracking system equivalent to ftrack or ShotGrid. Experience post‑producing finishing work is a bonus.
In this client‑facing role you will keep control of client expectations and project scope diplomatically and confidently, working with projects such as live‑action edits, explainer videos, infographics, title design, data visualisations, graphics packages and typography for documentary and narrative filmmakers, showrunners, and large brands.
Job Status: Full time, Exempt

Essential Functions
Responsible for managing both the client and artist sides of the project pipeline
Manage the full life‑cycle of the project, including the budget throughout the creative process
Manage artist schedules and deadlines
Creatively manage scripting, oversee edits and editors, deliver projects for review online and in‑person, and communicate feedback between the client and our creative directors
Strategic and hands‑on role that thinks ahead, stays organized under pressure, and guides projects with clarity and precision
Act as QC for rounds going to the client
May perform other duties as assigned
Equipment/Software Used
Apple/mac workstation – must be OS X proficient
Standard word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience required)
Project management software or spreadsheet management for the post‑production workflow of an animation or VFX studio

Working knowledge of the animation or visual effects process with Nuke, After Effects and/or Cinema4D or equivalent
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets, using formulas and linking
Experience scheduling people with project management tools like ftrack, Gantt schedulers, calendar apps or spreadsheets
Experience tracking and actualising budgets for film or video projects
Solid time management for self and the team
Flexible, positive attitude under high pressure and stressful situations
A sense of humor is required
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Education and Experience
5+ years of experience producing or coordinating post‑production projects that include specifically animation, motion design or visual effects
Shot tracking and progress tracking for multiple deliverables in a single project using spreadsheets, Shotgrid or ftrack
High school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Expected Hours of Work
This is a hybrid role at our studio in Wheat Ridge, CO with four days in office and one remote working day per week, working approximately 40–45 hours per week and is exempt from overtime. Typical hours fall between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
