What Were Looking For

Freight Forwarding Sales Experience: 3+ years in international logistics sales (ocean, air, customs brokerage, trucking)
Proven Business Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow accounts
Book of Business: Existing client relationships strongly preferred
Self-Starter: Comfortable working in a small-company environment with autonomy
Client-Focused: Strong relationship management and consultative selling skills

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 - $95,000 (based on experience and book of business)
Uncapped Commission: Aggressive commission structure with no cap

Responsibilities

Drive new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Develop and maintain a strong book of business
Sell international logistics solutions including:

Ocean & Air Freight
Customs Brokerage
Domestic Trucking (FTL/LTL)
Warehousing & Distribution
Project Cargo / Specialized Services

Build long-term client relationships and grow existing accounts
Work closely with operations to ensure service execution
Provide customized supply chain solutions for clients
Track pipeline and opportunities using CRM
Stay informed on market trends, rates, and trade lanes

Qualifications

Freight forwarding sales experience required
Existing book of business required
Knowledge of international import/export logistics
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Reliable transportation for client meetings
Authorized to work in the United States

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday
Hybrid / New York Metro Area
Travel within NY/NJ/CT/PA for client meetings
