Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and self‑motivated
Property Manager
to support Crown’s real estate portfolio, with a primary focus on managing vacant properties across North America. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands‑on experience in real estate, property maintenance, and small‑scale projects—requiring someone who can take ownership of issues, act decisively, and push solutions forward without constant oversight.
The Property Manager will be responsible for addressing site issues such as illegal dumping, vandalism, break‑ins, municipal violations, and routine property maintenance by coordinating local vendors, contractors, and municipalities. This position is ideal for a self‑starter who thrives in a high‑urgency environment and is comfortable being aggressive when required to protect Crown’s assets.
Key Responsibilities
Addressing and curing property violations and municipal compliance issues.
Coordinating property services such as lawn care, snow removal, and site cleanup (e.g., illegal dumping).
Managing small construction and repair projects involving one or two trades (e.g., paving, fencing, signage).
Communicating with contractors, service providers, and local agencies.
Conducting site visits and inspections across regional locations.
Assisting senior team members with project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience), but not required.
1–3 years of experience in property management, facilities, or construction.
Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities at once.
Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with vendors and municipalities.
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Must be available to work full‑time in‑office at our Warren, Michigan headquarters.
Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across North America
