Position Overview
The Distribution Clerk plays a key role in processing outgoing orders and ensuring accurate, timely shipments to customers. This fast-paced, detail-oriented position offers the opportunity to be cross-trained in multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and package outgoing orders (100–200 boxes daily)
Ensure shipments are accurate, secure, and sent on time
Print shipping labels and coordinate pickups (UPS, USPS, courier)
Use RF scanners, scales, and postage systems
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Assist with inventory cycle counts
Unbox incoming inventory and stock shelves as needed
Process returns to suppliers for non-stock items
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in a fast-paced work environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred: Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
