Role Description
The Architectural Job Captain will oversee day-to-day responsibilities related to architectural design and project coordination. This full-time, on-site position in the Atlanta area involves managing the production of construction documents, coordinating with consultants, ensuring compliance with local building codes, and supporting the team during all project phases. The role requires effectively communicating with clients, contractors, engineering consultants, and other members of the development team to deliver tailored solutions. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and a desire to learn and become an active mentor to other teammates.
Qualifications
Architecture and design skills: Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
Project management abilities: Experience in coordination of consultants, construction documentation, and adherence to schedules
Knowledge of building codes and standards: Familiarity with local, state, and national building codes and ADA guidelines
Problem-solving and organizational capabilities: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Communication and teamwork skills: Strong verbal and written communication and experience collaborating with diverse teams and clients
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
Prior experience in multi-family, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use project design is highly desirable
