Revit Designer – Electrical
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a Revit Designer specializing in Electrical systems to support the production of construction documents for commercial, industrial, and/or institutional projects. This role works closely with electrical engineers and project teams to develop accurate, coordinated Revit models and detailed drawings from schematic design through construction documents.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain electrical Revit models in accordance with project standards and client requirements
Produce electrical construction documents
Coordinate electrical layouts with architectural, structural, and mechanical models
Assist in clash detection and model coordination meetings
Implement markups and design changes from engineers and project managers
Adhere to established BIM standards, templates, and workflows
Support project deadlines by managing workload and priorities efficiently
Maintain organized project files and documentation
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Revit Designer or BIM Technician focusing on electrical systems
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical discipline)
Solid understanding of electrical systems layout
Solid understanding of construction documentation processes
Solid understanding of NEC and basic electrical design principles
Experience coordinating within multi-discipline BIM environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
