Overview
We are hiring a
Corrugated Packaging Designer
with strong
ArtiosCAD/CAD experience
to design and develop high-quality packaging solutions. This role focuses on
structural design, prototyping, and production-ready specifications
for corrugated boxes, displays, and inserts.
Key Responsibilities
Design
corrugated packaging (RSC, FOL, die cuts, displays, inserts)
Create
2D CAD drawings using ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD
Develop
prototypes and samples
for customer approval
Select proper
board grades, flutes, and materials (ECT, Mullen)
Collaborate with
sales, production, and tooling vendors
Ensure designs are optimized for
manufacturability and cost efficiency
Support production with
troubleshooting and tooling coordination
Maintain accurate
design files, specs, and revisions
Required Qualifications
2+ years of corrugated packaging design experience
Proficiency in
ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
Strong knowledge of
corrugated materials, board grades, and packaging performance
Ability to create and interpret
technical drawings and blueprints
Associate degree in
Packaging, Engineering, CAD, or related field
(or equivalent experience)
Preferred Skills
Experience with
Kongsberg cutting tables
Knowledge of
flexographic printing
Familiarity with
TOPS or packaging standards
Adobe Illustrator or graphic design experience
