Field Property Adjuster – Austin, TX
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages, and adjusts and negotiates claims within the limits of authority. Creates or audits comprehensive damage estimates for homeowners' first‑party claims, leading to proper disposition.
Key Responsibilities
Deep understanding of all policy types written by the company.
Strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on first‑party homeowners' losses with complexity.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers across multiple lines.
Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; make decisions on best option.
Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments and document all activities in the most complex files across multiple lines.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Base compensation offered for this role is as follows (subject to experience and qualifications):
Field Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 – $77,800
Field Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 – $82,500
Field Adjuster Sr Cons I & II: $65,600 – $98,200
Additional incentives may include commissions and bonuses.
Sign-On Bonus
Eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign‑On Bonus for holders of applicable active licenses (Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License).
Current employees or candidates previously working for Allstate and its family of companies are not eligible for this sign‑on bonus.
