Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with case management, court filings, document preparation, and trial support. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and excels in client communication.
Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys and staff with day-to-day case management
Prepare, draft, file, and serve pleadings and discovery in state and federal courts
Conduct legal research and maintain case filings, pleadings, and motions
Manage court correspondence, calendaring, and document tracking
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel via phone and email
Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
Schedule court appearances, depositions, mediations, and meetings
Assist with trial preparation, including trial and deposition binders
Facilitate settlement processes from client intake through payment
Gather and organize client documentation
Track case expenses, invoices, billing, and attorney time
Provide administrative support (typing, scanning, filing, and answering calls)
Interact daily with clients and Potential New Clients (PNCs)
Notarize legal documents as required
Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned
Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience (required)
Fluent in Spanish (required)
Texas Notary Public certification (required)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional, client-focused demeanor
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
Strong ethics, judgment, and confidentiality
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro
Experience with legal case management software (preferred)
Work Environment & Requirements

Full-time, on-site role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Fast-paced, collaborative office environment
Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs
