Pricing Analyst – Contact Center Solutions
A senior pricing analyst who supports Contact Center Operations by developing competitive, compliant pricing for U.S. Government contract proposals. The role builds detailed cost models, analyzes labor and operational data, and ensures alignment with federal regulations. Working closely with the Finance team and operational stakeholders, the analyst translates staffing models, labor categories, and cost drivers into accurate, defensible proposal pricing.
A Brief Overview
The Pricing Analyst plays a key role in the proposal lifecycle, ensuring that pricing strategies support Peckham’s business objectives and meet regulatory and internal policy requirements. Success in this position requires experience navigating the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), strong collaboration across teams, and a proven ability to produce high‑quality, compliant government proposals.
What You Will Do
Support the development of pricing strategies for federal contract proposals.
Build and maintain detailed cost models to support competitive pricing.
Analyze staffing plans, labor categories, compensation data, indirect rates, and other cost inputs.
Conduct profitability and sensitivity analyses to support pricing recommendations.
Collaborate closely with proposal managers, contracts, finance, HR, and program teams to gather accurate pricing inputs.
Support proposal timelines by delivering pricing artifacts in accordance with internal milestones.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and agency‑specific guidance.
Adhere to Peckham’s internal pricing policies and audit requirements.
Research and analyze market conditions, labor rates, industry benchmarks, and competitive intelligence.
Document data sources and rationale used in pricing models and narratives.
Develop compliant price narratives and supporting documentation for proposal submissions.
Conduct detailed margin analysis for each contract.
Prepare financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and cost‑benefit evaluations.
Monitor actual performance against budget and pricing assumptions, highlighting variances.
Track invoice status, support revenue recognition processes, and ensure invoicing aligns with funding requirements.
Monitor changes in funding levels, contract amendments, and regulatory requirements that impact financial planning.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience supporting and pricing federal contracts across various contract types (FFP, T&M, LH, cost‑reimbursable).
5+ years of experience pricing labor‑based federal contracts, including SCA/SCLS requirements.
Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and cost principles applicable to federal proposals.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven proposal environment.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel‑based modeling skills.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting proposals for civilian and/or DoD agencies.
Familiarity with compliant cost volume development and audit support.
Experience working in cross‑functional proposal teams.
Experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry with contact center focus.
Understanding of indirect rate structures and cost allocation methodologies.
Physical Demands
The position operates in a professional office environment. It involves prolonged computer work, meetings, light lifting (up to 20 lb), and repetitive tasks such as typing and data entry. The role may require sitting for extended periods, using standard office equipment, and occasionally standing or walking.
