Role Overview
As an Analyst at Elrock Capital specializing in Investor Relations, you will spend most of your time interfacing with lenders and investors as well as working with our internal technology to help improve placement success rates. You will work with static and semantic data fields to incorporate rigid investment criteria with anecdotal feedback and insights.

This role is ideal for someone who is self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and excited about building business relationships in the commercial real estate space, even if you don’t have extensive industry experience yet.

What You’ll Do

Prospect and identify commercial real estate lenders and investors through software, scrapers, and other resources.

Communicate directly with capital sources to better understand their buy box.

Work within our internal systems to input and refine data.

Initiate contact via email, phone, social media, networking events, and industry conferences to create new relationships.

Collaborate closely with internal capital markets and deal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on client needs.

Discuss client projects with applicable financiers and better understand how lenders/investors qualify their investments.

Represent Elrock professionally, strengthening brand recognition and credibility in the market.

What We’re Looking For

Strong entrepreneurial characteristics (self‑starter, adaptable, results‑oriented).

Excellent communication skills – able to engage lenders with confidence and clarity.

Motivated by building relationships and earning through performance incentives.

Quick learner with an interest in commercial real estate, financing, and capital markets.

Comfort with outreach and proactive engagement.

Previous real estate or finance experience is a plus, but strong drive and coachability matter most.

Based in Cleveland or a surrounding area – this role requires a regular in‑person presence at our Tremont office location for collaboration. That said, we emphasize the work that’s done rather than where it’s being completed and are a remote‑friendly work environment.

Compensation & Incentives

Independent contractor arrangement with performance‑based compensation model.

Pay range: based on a good faith assessment of recent historic data, typical annualized earnings range from $75,000 to $110,000 for this role, with higher earnings possible. Actual earnings vary by firm production volume. This is an independent contractor position. No employee benefits are provided.

Elrock offices out of Tremont in a newly built building that includes a gym, coffee & wine bar, rooftop deck, and more – all of which you have access to.
