Location and Language Requirements
Must reside in or near Queens, NY. Bilingual in Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, and/or Arabic is highly desired. Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license with a good record, and be able to drive up to three hours to attend events. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand or sit for long periods.
Responsibilities
Achieve established enrollment goals, improving Molina’s Medicaid enrollment growth objectives.
Work with limited supervision to conduct enrollment events and achieve membership growth targets through direct and indirect marketing activities.
Develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders, community-based organizations (CBOs), providers, and other stakeholders to build membership for Medicaid and related programs.
Move relationships through the enrollment pipeline.
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual enrollment, growth, and choice targets as established by management.
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in enrollment events; encourage key partners to participate and assist where feasible.
Collaborate with Provider Services to ensure providers within assigned territory understand Molina products and services.
Establish referral processes for providers and CBOs to refer clients eligible for Molina products.
Act as a subject‑matter expert on the health‑care delivery system and wellness topics.
Present, attend meetings, and distribute educational materials to members and potential members.
Assist all incoming calls and provide health‑access related support to prospective or current members.
Identify partnership and sponsorship opportunities and justify Molina’s participation.
Promote Molina’s programs in the community and create opportunities for employees to participate.
Manage daily schedule in alignment with department goals and initiatives assigned by regions.
Contribute to the development of SMART goals and input on department priorities.
Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job‑related experience.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of related experience in marketing, business development, community engagement, or the healthcare industry.
Exceptional networking and negotiation skills.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Ability to attend public events in outdoor venues under all weather conditions.
Physical capability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Required License, Certification, Association
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.
Preferred Experience
Solid understanding of Health Care Markets, primarily Medicaid.
Previous healthcare marketing, enrollment, or grassroots/community outreach experience (a plus).
Five years of outreach experience serving low‑income populations.
Three to five years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare or outreach settings.
Experience presenting to influencers and low‑income audiences.
Experience in sales or marketing techniques.
Fluency in a second language (highly desirable).
Preferred License, Certification, Association
Active Life & Health Insurance License.
Marketplace Certification.
