
Zero Trust Sales Engineer

The Opportunity
Serve as a key lead engaging with program managers, senior leaders, the acquisition community, and DoD clients to shape acquisition opportunities for Zero Trust work across the DoD community. Identify mission‑critical work and suitable contracts to execute tactical sales and pursue OTAs, Pilots, and other whitespace work for new capabilities and emerging mission needs. Leverage senior‑level leadership and extensive community relationships within the defense industry and government clients. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Engage across industry partners and resellers to generate leads, identify new opportunities, catalyze revenue growth, and represent the company at conferences and industry events. Maintain a broad and collaborative network across the company and engage in speaking opportunities, networking, and publishing to build an internal and industry reputation as a recognized expert in the Zero Trust opportunity landscape.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience directly supporting the DoD, including senior‑level organizations such as combatant commands
3+ years of experience working with complex technical solutions that support the DoD, including Zero Trust solutions for mission operators
Experience engaging with key client stakeholders to discuss organization capabilities and services on several large‑scale projects, including driving program of record creation and driving large acquisition vehicle work
Knowledge of the DoD acquisition life cycle
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED

Experience working with DoD acquisition centers and mission stakeholders
Experience developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Word
Experience with the successful execution of all phases of large, multi‑year capture efforts
Experience as a program manager for the military or DoD
Experience establishing relationships in the FEDSIM government and industry communities
Ability to communicate multi‑step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Compensation
Salary range: $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
