
Customer Service Representative

Role Summary
Handles customer service inquiries and problems and records consistent problem areas.
Job Duties
Serve as primary liaison with customers to allow seamless business practices between the company and internal and external customers
Handle customer service inquiries and problems
Work with accounting to fix invoice discrepancies
Use the computerized system for pricing, ordering, tracking, reporting, information gathering and/or troubleshooting
Coordinate with other departments regarding customer requirements, complaints, and schedules
Navigate through customer systems with speed and accuracy and stay familiar with changes to systems
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
Perform work under general supervision
Handle moderately complex issues and problems, and refer more complex issues to higher‑level staff
Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
Typically require a Bachelor degree or equivalent and 2 to 4 years of experience
Competencies / Skills
Ability to interpret work instructions
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
Customer/client orientation
Problem‑solving skills
