Training & Licensure
Start as a financial representative focused on client building and licensing. Northwestern Mutual provides award-winning training programs, including a three-year curriculum covering client acquisition, professional development, and an extensive national advisor network.
Licenses required:
Life/Accident & Health Certifications
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
Series 6, Series 7, and Series 63
Northwestern Mutual offers pre-payment/reimbursement for course tuition fees and books.

Average advisor annual earnings $61K–$119K (first 3 years)
Top 25% advisor earnings $137K–$250K (first 3 years)
