InProduction is seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer proficient in Autodesk Revit to support the design, documentation, and execution of complex temporary and permanent event structures. This role plays a critical part in translating conceptual designs into accurate, build‑ready construction documents while coordinating closely with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment supporting large scale live events, sporting venues, and specialty structures.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed Revit models and construction drawings that are code compliant, fabrication ready, and installation‑accurate

Translate design concepts, engineering inputs, and field requirements into fully coordinated drawing packages

Maintain and manage Revit models, including families, templates, views, and sheets

Coordinate with engineering, project management, CAD/design teams, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle

Revise and update drawings efficiently to reflect design changes, RFIs, and site conditions

Participate in design reviews, production meetings, and project handoff meetings

Ensure drawing accuracy, dimensional integrity, and constructability

Support QA/QC processes for drawing deliverables and model standards

Contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows, standards, and Revit best practices

Requirements

Proven professional experience as a Technical Designer, BIM Designer, or Revit Designer

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (architecture or structure focused)

Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and coordination

Excellent spatial reasoning and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines

Proficiency with Windows‑based PC environments and Microsoft Office

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

Experience in temporary structures, event infrastructure, staging, seating, or modular construction

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or related Autodesk platforms

Understanding of fabrication workflows and constructability

Experience working with engineers and structural calculations

Knowledge of BIM standards, model coordination, and drawing control

Ability to support 2D and 3D workflows across multiple software platforms

Education & Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred

5 to 10 years of Revit experience

Equivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of formal education

Some travel and flexible working hours may be required based on project demands

Compensation
$80 K- 105 K
