Location:
This is a fully on-site role based in Baltimore, Maryland, offering close collaboration with the legal and leasing team. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Note:
Candidates must have a J.D., be admitted to the Maryland Bar, and bring 1+ years of directly relevant transactional real estate experience, ideally with commercial leasing experience. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Job Description
Draft, review, revise, and negotiate commercial leases and related leasing documents
Support the leasing team on day-to-day legal matters tied to commercial real estate transactions
Analyze lease terms and prepare lease abstracts and related summaries
Communicate with lenders, opposing counsel, brokers, tenants, and internal stakeholders
Organize, circulate, and maintain legal documentation related to leasing matters
Collaborate across departments to support negotiations and ensure smooth deal execution
Monitor legal compliance, contract performance, and deadlines related to leasing transactions
Advise internal teams on legal issues, process requirements, and deal‑specific considerations
Assist with special projects and other legal matters as needed

Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Maryland Bar admission
1+ years of transactional real estate experience
Commercial real estate leasing experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
Superior attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common legal research and real estate record systems
