Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Collections Specialist, based in West Chicago, IL. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts, maintaining accurate records of customer accounts, communicating with clients to address payment discrepancies, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting the finance department with cash flow management tasks. The role involves working closely with internal teams to ensure consistent and efficient collections processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Debt Collection and Cash Collection practices
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle client inquiries professionally
Basic knowledge of Finance principles and processes
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts efficiently
Proficiency with accounting or collection software is a plus
Ability to resolve discrepancies and negotiate payment solutions
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or education is a plus
