Position Summary
The Reality Capture Analyst is responsible for optimizing data collection, site assessments, and inspections using advanced Reality Capture technology.

Responsibilities

Construction Site Operations:

Plan and execute Reality Capture operations for construction sites to support surveying, progress monitoring, inspections, and safety assessments.

Data Capture and Analysis:

Utilize Reality Capture tools including, but not limited to UAVs, 360° cameras, and handheld LiDAR scanners to collect high-quality aerial data, process the data for site analysis, and deliver actionable insights to support project planning, execution and reporting deliverables to project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Compliance and Safety Management:

Stay abreast of regulations affecting Reality Capture operations and ensure all activities are compliant with FAA rules and other relevant regulations. Ensure all drone flights adhere to FAA Part 107 regulations, Lexicon safety standards, and industry best practices. Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.

Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Implement, administrate and maintain Reality Capture hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all equipment is fully operational.

Collaboration & Training:

Collaborate with project teams, site managers, vendors, and clients to showcase Reality Capture capabilities, develop execution plans, and align capture priorities. Provide staff training on safe and effective Reality Capture practices, coordinating with foremen, safety officers, and the Analyst team.

Deploy and Operate:

Deploy and operate equipment on-site, performing comprehensive pre-flight and scan planning; assess and mitigate operational risks; conduct in-field quality checks (point cloud density, overlap, GPS accuracy) with re-scans as needed; and securely transfer raw data, maintaining detailed logs and accurate project metadata.

Schedule and Availability:

Must be available for overtime as needed and maintain consistent, punctual attendance.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree in Reality Capture Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Reality Capture operations, preferably within the construction or industrial sectors.

Certification: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification required.

In-depth knowledge of Reality Capture platforms, aerial & ground imaging technologies, photogrammetry, and data analysis software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on construction data application.

Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.

Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% to various job sites and locations.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GIS/mapping tools and CAD software for construction site applications.

Background in data analytics or programming (e.g., Python, R) to enhance Reality Capture data insights.

Prior experience in Reality Capture based solutions for surveying, inspection, or progress monitoring within the construction industry.

Physical Demands

Remote work arrangements may be considered; however, significant travel to job sites, client locations, and company offices is required.

Adaptability and the ability to work independently in diverse settings are critical to success in this role.

Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lb repeatedly and climb ladders or scaffolding safely (per job-site safety standards).
