$19.50/hour
Experience:
1-year of experience working in a fast‑paced front office setting required, working in a nonprofit preferred, or any equivalent combination of experience, lived experience, and/or special skills.
Education:
High school degree or equivalent required, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Type:
Full‑time; Contract
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (ability to work evenings as needed)
Job Description
Check clients in for appointments.
Provide professional and friendly customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk.
Answer incoming calls and greet visitors, screen and route calls.
Route incoming supplies and donations.
Schedule counseling appointments for clinical staff and interns.
Maintain client wait list, referrals, documentation, and assist with other file maintenance.
Input, update, and maintain files and computer records.
Research client/case information on the OSCN website.
Maintain a sign‑up sheet for childcare services.
Perform mail routing functions.
Assist with other clerical support and duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge of or experience working with social justice issues is preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, required.
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Database experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize work and tasks and adapt to produce and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, and changing environment.
