Responsibilities

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisors and provide feedback via surveys. Maintain courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers, and manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

Holiday support:

Provide additional support during major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) – including work on the holiday itself if required.

Department resets:

Assist with installations, fixture building, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Receive assignments two weeks in advance, often during evenings or weekends.

Team support:

Work as part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting fellow merchandisers as needed.

Schedule & Compensation

Starting hourly pay rate: $14.00–$16.00, based on skills and experience.

Paid training: live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Hourly work: Part‑time with a variable schedule. Average weekly hours: 8–12 per week.

Availability: Week before and after major holidays (including weekends) and during seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.

Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding job requiring high energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons and fixtures up to 30 lb daily and up to 50 lb occasionally. You may kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders throughout the shift.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Lift and carry up to 30 lb frequently and up to 50 lb occasionally.

Operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents.

Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.

Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
